Just Tell Me What You Want
By Tim Loomis

What an eye opener our annual raffle was! In years past, my wife and I have arrived late, the fault of my extended business trips. This year, for the first time since I've been a member, we arrived early to help out in the kitchen. I had a chance to look over the notebook that Elaine Cook made up, a meticulous and detailed plan providing the who, what and where for every single item that was needed for the evening's success. Any Silicon Valley wedding planner would hold Elaine in a Goddess-like status. What a sensational job she and her team did! Thank you again, Elaine and John Cook.
Thank you also to Joe Bigas and all the rest of the Board members for the work done in 2005. Joe has turned over to me a very healthy club, and as I hear it, the envy of most flyfishing clubs in the state.
This season I want to make our club even better. What does that entail? Better guest speakers? Better meetings? Better fishouts? More fishouts? I want to hear from all of you, in your own words what can be done to improve our club. Best of all, if you have concrete ideas about how to implement your suggestions, I need to hear them. And if you have issues you would like addressed, let me hear them.
Also, get involved. Take a part in running the club. Just like our local city, state and national government, you can have a voice in the direction our club takes.
Let's get out there and go fishing and have fun.
