Kayak Fishing the Coast
Guest Speaker: Brendan Crahan

The coast from the southern tip of Big Sur up to Ft. Ross is where Brandan conducts his business of leading fellow adventurers on kayak fishing trips. Can you think of a better office? Brendan began his kayak forays out into our coastal waters while attending UCSC. He majored in environmental studies and has a good working knowledge of marine biology. He accumulated over 1000 hours on the water in his first two years of business.

Brendan will speak about fly fishing from a kayak in waters near to town and down in Big Sur. If you've been wishing for a way to get off the beach and out into the kelp beds (where the pigs are) but can't afford the luxury of a motor boat, Brendan has the solution: fishing from a kayak. Yes folks, for the cost of a longboard (about $650) you can have yourselves a seaworthy vessel and the means to land those pigs out in the kelp, far out of casting range of the surf.

Should be an interesting evening.
