Help Wanted!

It occurred to me at the last general meeting how fragile our club's existence is. Walt Robinson made a spot-on joke about how Pat Steele was performing all of the missing board members' functions. " . . . Pat Steele did this, Pat Steele did that . . . "
Truth is, the Board of Directors needs new blood. For the continued health of our club, there needs to be a new infusion of Board members. If you go back even as far as 10 years and look at the names on the Board of Directors you will see repetition run rampant. Thank you to the few who volunteer year in and year out for the Board positions, for they keep us going. Unfortunately we grow older and the outlook for new blood on the horizon doesn't appear all that rosy. Please, for the sake of our Club's continuation, make a commitment to the SCFF and volunteer as a Board member. The more the merrier, as competition makes for a higher caliber of choice come election time.
