Mammoth Lakes - Sept. 16th-23rd, Sept. 23rd-30th

As always, the wonderful camaraderie makes the experience what it is. That, and the incredible natural beauty - and the great food. (I'm not a fisherfolk but I love to come anyway.) - Sharon Hull
Filled with fun at Crowley with the club members. Togetherness with friends. Thank you John, Paul and Elaine. - Richard Stipes

The food, camaraderie & fishing was GREAT! Thanks for another Mammoth adventure. Thank you John, Paul and Elaine. - Jim and Heidi Harmon
As usual, fishing was great and all the members enjoyed new friendships and old. I imagine our club will take (and release) a thousand fish from 8" to 24". Best fishout ever. Thank you all. - Jim Otis
This was a great experience and very educational, thanks to Elaine and her great instruction. I'll remember this trip for a long time. Thanks to all for a great time. - Jim Pennington
You can't get fish training this cheap anywhere. Great folks that you'll always want to fish with and what a learning trip to remember. - Marla Lytle
What a fun time we have had - awesome scenery, wonderful accommodations and great company. Thanks for all the preparation that went into the fishout Ð rivers and lakes for best fishing, tiny flies to hook those poor fish, and, of course the delicious meals! What a great group!~ Hope we can do this again sometime! Thank you, thank you! - Ken and Barbara Reed
This was a fishout of wonderful firsts for me: first time fishing with my mom, first time fishing with my dad when he was in an ankle cast, first trout caught on a grasshopper fly, first time rescuing a sidewinder off the road to the Gorge, first time fishing Lake Crowley, first float tubing, first bobbercating, first time fishing with leeches (marabou) AND getting covered in leeches (in the Gorge), and first time fishing the West Walker River. This fishout is a knockout. Thank you to all who made it one. - Sus Danner
We really enjoyed getting to know everyone. Thanks for the help fishing Crowley and San Joaquin. We enjoyed tying flies at night - midges, light Cahills, parachute Adams, woolly buggers. We enjoyed the diversity of fishing venues and types of fish we were able to catch - rainbows, browns and the occasional golden. The food was wonderful. Thanks for such a great time. - Kelly and Dave Lehnan
You'd think it not possible, but I proved the unusual is possible: "A bird in a float tube is worth a fish on the line!" - Fishing Crowley in my float tube, I was casting and smacked a sparrow (broke its neck!). Caught an 18" fish while retrieving the little bird. - (no name given)
This was my third trip here and they keep getting better -- good people, good weather (2nd week) and fishing gets better after many helpful hints. - Pete Thomas
Other than the lack of snakes, this was the PERFECT trip; great fishing, great food, great weather, and great company. - Kirk Mathews
The weather was fair. The food was fine. The companions were congenial. The digs were comfy. And, as usual, the Crowley fish were fat and cooperative. What more is there? - Betty Rentz
Note to self: Bring many Quigley cripples for Sotcher. Personal best, 19" 'bow on black beadhead woolly bugger on Lake Crowley. - Tom Pelikan
This fishout began in 1990. Amazingly, I've been on every one. Even at that I found new water to fish this year. Wow! - Elaine Cook
Thanks to all for the laughter!! - John Cook
Fish, friends and laughter, year after year in this fantastically beautiful place. Thank you, thank you and keep it coming. - Mary Breckenridge
How good can it get? Dunno, but the Mammoth trip is way up on top. I've never been on trips with better camaraderie, hot tip sharing and plain ol' fun! P.S. - Trip to Upper Rock Creek Lakes = #1 - Harry Schoonbaert
Wonderful weather, midges, edges, big fish, fine food, fanatic friends, evening folk singalongs, visit to haunting Manzanar. A truly great trip. - Walt and Lois Robinson
