Kelly and David Lehrian are looking for three more people to round out a pack trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness July 29th - Aug 5th. The fishing is done on Young's Creek and the South Fork of the Flathead River. Young's Creek and the Danaher Creek come together about one mile down stream from the campground and form the South Fork of the Flathead. The fishing is outstanding with 50 fish days not out of the question. The fish are all native West Slope Cutthroat but there are a few Bull Trout in the system as well. Most fish are in the 14" to 16" range with the biggest catch last year being a 19" Cut that my brother landed. The cost is $1700 per person, which includes everything. We arrive on July 28th and pack in on the 29th. It's about eight hours on horseback to get to the camp. You will probably not see another person the entire trip (we saw two people floating the river last year). Space is limited so let David know ASAP at 831-761-8662.
