Howard F. Robinson passed away on Friday, July 13th, after a long battle with lung cancer, with his loving family by his side. He was born April 18, 1934, to Ike and Shirley Robinson.
Howard was a pharmacist, and served patients who came in to have their prescriptions filled at Robinson's Capitola Pharmacy. He was a devoted professional pharmacist, loved and admired by his customers and employees, revered by his colleagues, and was a credit to his profession.
In addition to his professional associations, he belonged to the California Waterfowl Association, Ducks Unlimited, the Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen, South Bay Soaring Society, and the Santa Cruz Wood Carvers.
His hobbies included fishing, sailing, hunting, gardening and spending quality time with his family. He was an avid sportsman, a gentleman, and the world is greatly diminished by his absence.
There will be a public memorial held at the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge on Jewel St., Wednesday, August 15th, at 6:00 PM.
