I will be available for casting instruction before the August club meeting, Wednesday, August 1st, at 5:30 PM. If you need help breaking an old, bad habit, need instruction for a particular technique, or just need some coaching on your stroke, see me out in the parking lot of the Aptos Grange. If you bring your own rod and reel, remember to rig up with some old line, as the asphalt does not treat lines well. If you are a beginner and haven't got your own gear yet, there are a couple of rods and reels available for practice casting.
