There has been interest expressed in creating a core of club members to fish the surf close to home on a regular basis for short durations like an hour or two in the morning or evening. Given the tremendous year this was for stripers in the Moss Landing area and the abundance of perch that resides year round we are afforded an excellent opportunity to catch fish while we fulfill the need to just wet a line close to home. The goal is to share information about fishing and safety and to be able to call someone on the spur of the moment to go fish for an hour or two. Call me if you are interested.
