* Sage Classes in Carmel with the Central Coast Fly Fishing Club
Our Sage Casting Clinic (3/15) and Sage Basic Trout School (3/16) is about three weeks away. We have seven spots left for the novice session of the casting clinic and eight spots open for the intermediate/advanced portion. Come on, you know that loop could be a little tighter on the forward cast and your back cast, well, let's just say that you need some help there, too. The Sage Basic Trout School on the 16th is wide open and it's a good primer for those who've never tried fly fishing. The Sage Floating Intermediate Trout School on the Yuba River is slated for May 17th. Bill Lowe will once again subject some hapless anglers to his brand of fly fishing sickness but you will be a more effective angler for it and be able to fish any stream "from top to bottom". Don't wait until the last minute to sign up for any of these programs or you might find yourself walking down the street talking to yourself.
Other classes for March include Beginning Fly Fishing on the 4th, 5th, 6th 8th & 9th, Knot Sense on the 18th & 19th and a Fly Fishing the Surf on the 28th & 29th.
