Wash and dry your flies in fresh water after your beach fishing. Corrosion will attack the hooks in less than a week making them dull and subject to breaking. If you use a plastic box to store your flies, put a teaspoon of rice in the container to absorb moisture or save one of those silica packs from electronics boxes.
