Just when you've gotten to the good part of your best fish story, don't you often wish that Tim wouldn't yell, whistle, bang on the table or do whatever he does to call the meeting to order, so you could just stand there with your friends and chat to your heart's content? Well, this month, here's your chance to do just that. We're having a non-meeting meeting. What that means is there will be no old or new business, no committee reports, or no motions to make, second or vote on. We won't have a reading of the minutes of the previous meeting, either, since there wasn't one.
What we will have is a rare opportunity to touch base with one another after our summer vacations, fishing trips, and time apart. We can mix and mingle, say hello to old friends and make new ones, relate our triumphs and failures, share information about good spots to fish, make arrangements to fish together, or just be comfortable in each other's company. If you haven't seen a good friend for several months, make plans to attend the non-meeting meeting, because odds are, they'll be there!
