This is your last chance to get your name in the club roster and to receive the newsletter. Being a member of SCFF entitles you to many educational opportunities, exciting programs, fishouts and other club activities. Dues are $30 for individuals, $50 for a family, and $18 for juniors (ages 18 and under). Download the membership form from the website and send your check made out to Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen and the signed form to me:

Bob Prikanzsky joined the club at the annual fundraiser. Like most members, he bought a handful of raffle tickets and enjoyed the food and festivities.
As luck would have it, Bob's raffle number was called and he collected a prize. His number was called again, then again and yet again. Before the night ended, new member Bob Prikazsky had won the following:

4 hours of private fly tying lessons
a starter packet of fly tying material
waterproof gloves
Scientific Anglers Master Series fly line
iPod Shuffle
Cabela's gear bag
water-tight microcase
a magnifier for tying flies (which her generously gifted to the bartender, who was drooling over it)

As a grand finale, Bob unknowingly dropped some of his tickets on the way to collect his last prize. The person who found them, unable to locate their owner, also won a prize!
I'm taking Bob fishing with me whenever and wherever I go, but we may have to make a side trip to Las Vegas first. Congratulations, Bob, on a very successful return on your membership investment.
