* NCCFFF Dinner - Feb. 28th, 2009

Join us as we induct Chuck Echer as the 29th member of the NCCFFF's Fly Fishing Hall of Fame, Saturday Evening February 28th, 2009. Chuck's contributions to the art and sport of fly fishing will be formally recognized. Join local fly fishing personalities and national celebrities for a lively evening of dinner, induction ceremony and fund raising as we celebrate Chuck's place in fly fishing history, to be held at the Veterans Memorial Building, 301 Main St., Pleasanton, California.
A social hour and silent auction start at 6:00 PM; dinner is at 7:00 PM, featuring the same caterer and menu as last year's event. A live auction will follow.

* Salmonid Restoration Federation Conference - March 4-7 - Elements of Watershed Restoration

The 27th Annual Salmonid Federation Conference will be held March 4-7, in Santa Cruz. This is the premiere habitat restoration conference in the Pacific Northwest and hosting the conference in Santa Cruz affords wonderful opportunities to view projects on the Central Coast and highlight issues that pertain to coastal watershed and coho salmon recovery.
