The Damsel Nymph
Instructor: Chris Walters (588-1066)

Bring: Brown, black or olive 6/0 thread, vise, tools, light, glasses or magnification (as needed.)
Beginners: A couple of vises and tools are available. You are always welcome and can expect lots of help getting started.
Provided: All materials EXCEPT thread.

The Damsel nymph is a great pattern for all of the standard stillwater lakes of California and the west. I have had great success with this pattern on Crane Prairie reservoir in Oregon, Shasta Lake, Crowley Lake, Georgetown Lake in Montana, and many others. There are many variations of Damsel nymphs and this is an easy one to tie. We will be discussing how to blend your own dubbing and how to make mono eyes.

Please sign up at the next club meeting or call Chris at 588-1066. Knowing how many will attend is very important for material preparation. Thanks!
