Can You Live Without It?
by Pat Steele

If you're reading this, you already know that the web version of the newsletter contains the same articles and other content that the print newsletter does, with the added advantages that it can be updated mid-month as need be, whereas the print news, once mailed, is not updated until the next issue. The photos and graphics are in color on the web, too, and sometimes there are more photos and graphics, because there is not the strict 10-page space limitation of the print version.
The print issue has its advantages, too, the main one being that it can be read without a computer, internet access, WiFi, or even electricity, unless, of course, you choose to read it while in a dark closet. In that case, you'd need a flashlight.
The board has directed me to ask those members who are willing to waive receipt of their print newsletters to please let either Kirk Mathew or me know that you want to opt out. You are under no obligation to do so, and if, at a later date you decide you want to resume receipt of your print newsletter, all you need to do is contact either of us. It is my pleasure to provide both the print newsletter and the website. You can call Kirk at 724-6811, or e-mail him at k4mathew@sbcglobal.net, or me, at 476-0648, e-mail at patsteele11@comcast.net.
