The Para Nymph
Instructor: Tom Donovan

This fly is fished on more demanding water, and is deadly. Use brown/orange or brown/pink color combinations. If you dangle this HBI Emerger in the suface just like an emerging Pale Morning Dun, it will rarely be refused when presented properly.

This is great ammunition for Mammoth Lakes and Hot Creek, and is highly recommended by Andy Burk, an expert tier and fisherman from the Reno Fly Shop.

Please bring 8/0 tan thread, your vise, light, tying tools, and magnification and/or glasses as needed. Beginners are always welcome, and if you don't have your own gear, there is some equipment available for your use.

There will be a sign up sheet at the August club meeting, or you can call the instructor at 423-4740. Sign ups are important, as the instructor needs to know how much material to bring, and if you sign up and find later that you cannot come, please be courteous and let the instructor know.
