Walking and Wading the Trinity for Steelhead
Guest Speaker: Phil Fischer

The Trinity River is one of the best rivers in California for Steelhead. Every fall thousands of steelhead ascend the river. The River features excellent walk and wade access throughout much of its length. The Trinity offers steelhead fly fishing opportunities for every experience level, from beginner to expert, and for those who like to swing the fly or those who like to nymph fish for steelhead. The fish average 6-8 pounds and take flies readily in certain situations, and in other situations, live up to the reputation of a "fish-of-a-thousand-casts". Phil will cover gear, flies, tactics and techniques and where to go. As always, his presentation will feature excellent photography to share the beauty of the Trinity River and its steelhead.
