We will be targeting American Shad with this shrimp imitation, one of my favorite flies on the Sacramento River and very easy to tie.
Bring: Hot orange or hot pink flat waxed nylon, or ultra thread 140 denier, vise, and tools. (If you have Zap-a-Gap super glue, bring it). All materials except thread will be provided. The club has some tools for those new to fly tying. Please sign up at the club meeting or call Gil at 462-2010.
*PLEASE NOTE: Please do not congregate near the entrance of the Grange hall before the class. Do not enter the building until 6:45 PM. If you wish to chat before the class, please do so away from the entrance.
