The Yellow Humpy
Fly Tying Instructor: Tom Donovan

The Humpy is one of those great patterns that never go away and works best when there seems to be no real rhyme or reason to put it on. It can be tied in a variety of sizes and colors, although the most popular color is yellow. The Humpy floats high and is visible on the water.

Please bring yellow 6/0 thread, (Danville waxed single-strand floss) if available. All other materials will be provided. Bring your vise, light, tying tools and any magnification you may need. If you are a beginner and have not yet acquired your own equipment, the club has some vises, tools and lights you can use.

Sign up at the club meeting, or call Tom at 423-4740 if you plan to come to class, to make sure enough materials are prepared. If you sign up and later decide you cannot attend, please let Tom know.

*PLEASE NOTE: Please do not congregate near the entrance of the Grange hall before the class. Do not enter the building until 6:45 PM. If you wish to chat before the class, please do so away from the entrance.
