Trout season in California is opening soon, and many of us will be heading upland to try our luck in the streams of the Sierras. Even in low water years, the mountains can be productive trout fishing, and if anybody can suss out how to fish in this area, it is our guest speaker, Rick Mazaira.
Rick comes to us from Yosemite Outfitters. He has been fly fishing since 1984 and has been guiding professionally since 2008. Living in the Yosemite region has exposed him to a lot of varied water, from creeks to alpine lakes, streams to river, and the excitement for these waters he has is contagious. He is patient and has an easy-going demeanor and is passionate about seeing people learn and advance as anglers. He always leaves people with a great experience.
This program promises to provide valuable information for you in your mountain fishing exploits, and beautiful scenery, too, so come and enjoy Rick's presentation.
