The Matuka is a well-known New Zealander pattern. It is best in olive or black. The pattern we are tying uses both. With a minnow like shape you will like it over the Woolybugger at times. It is a simple and good pattern.
Please bring 6/0 olive thread, your vise, tools, light, magnification and glasses as needed. All materials, instructions, helpful assistance, and demonstration will be provided. Beginners are always welcome, and some equipment is available for their use.
Please sign-up at the club meeting, or by calling George at least 24 hours in advance. If you sign-up and later find you are unable to attend, notice of cancellation is appreciated.
