Small mayflies do hatch at this time of the year in various places. If you want to do a little stream fishing other than nymphing, here's a great fly to trail after an adult dry fly. Every time I call for the Owens River Pleasant Valley report, they talk about a BWO hatch that takes place mid day.
Please bring 8/0 olive thread, your tools, a vise, and light.
All materials and hooks will be supplied. Remember, you beginners are always welcome and there are vises, tools, and lights for you to use.
