Local Rockfish Fishout

Harry Petrakis is organizing a fishout on some our local reefs for September 11, 2004. The main target will be olive and blue rockfish, which readily go for a well-presented fly, and are a lot of fun to catch. There is also the chance of hooking into a 40 pound white sea bass or a good-sized halibut, or who knows what kind of monster. Harry needs to know who has a suitable boat for near shore ocean fishing, and how many people he or she can accommodate on their boat. Give him a call at 425-1223.

Cecilia Stipes has set the dates for her Roostercomb Ranch bass fishing trip. It will be Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2. She can bring other club members on this great trip, so mark your calendars if you are interested. Call Cecilia at 335-5727 for more information.
