Are You Ready?
By Paul Schraeder

With our fishing season just around the corner, it's time to be getting yourself and your gear in order. Since some of our fishouts can be physically demanding (weather, altitude, remote conditions). You might want to ask yourself if you're physically ready for the new season.

If not, there's still time to start getting yourself in shape! Also, if you have not had a Tetanus shot in the last 10 years, you might want to ask your doctor about getting a booster shot.

If your gear has been sitting around for a while, you might think about getting it out to do an inventory of your fly fishing gear and equipment, to see what needs maintenance, what needs replacement.

If your casting needs some fine-tuning, don't forget about our Casting Master, Walt Robinson. Walt's casting lessons start this month before our regular meeting.

If you're going on any of our fishouts this year, and need to know what equipment, supplies, and flies are required, or if you have some other question about the fishout, just call the fishmaster, and he/she will advise you.

Remember that our club is full of great resources. You are encouraged to take advantage of what we have to offer, and what we want to share with you.

HAPPY FISHING!
