*Annual Slide Show
Don't forget to take lots of pictures on our fishouts and on your own fishing trips; and for goodness sakes don't forget to send your pictures to Dougald Scott. This year's presentation will again be in digital format. If your pictures are already digital, you can e-mail them to him at doscott@cruzio.com. If you have slides or prints, mail them to him and he will scan them into digital format and return your pictures to you. If you have any questions call Dougald at 427-1394.

*SCFF Conservation Fund
This year our club has allocated $2500 of our budget to be spent on worthy conservation projects and groups. I will be holding an informal meeting at my house sometime in April to come up with spending recommendations for our board of directors. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact me at 427-3974. - Bruce Dau

*Clean Streams Program
The Coastal Watershed Council is a non-profit organization committed to the preservation and protection of coastal watersheds through education and community outreach. CWC is currently seeking volunteers for our Clean Streams Program. Volunteers are needed for summer Clean Streams monitoring on Aptos, Corralitos, Branciforte and Gazos Creeks and the Watsonville Sloughs.
The Clean Streams program is a great opportunity for local residents and community members to learn more about their watershed through participation in volunteer water quality and biological monitoring of our creeks. The data gathered through our volunteer monitoring programs can then be used by State and local resource agencies to aid the prioritization of restoration & education needs in our watersheds, provide baseline data where data is lacking or absent, and to develop long-term watershed stewardship.
CWC's Clean Streams program trains volunteers to monitor local watersheds on a monthly basis. The volunteer commitment is approximately 6 hours per month, and all participants will visit various locations throughout each watershed. No experience necessary!
