Caddis, being one of the most important food sources for trout, are simulated with many, many fly patterns. This month's pattern mimics the larval stage. The technique for tying the body is different than we have taught in other classes the club has sponsored.
It is not a difficult tie, so let's see those of you new to fly tying. Bring 8/0 black thread and tools, vise, and light. Some club equipment is available for beginners.
