With no club meeting in July, the board is now back to work. We have our annual fund raising/dinner event coming up in January. John Steele has informed me that we are already receiving raffle prizes, and he expects to have as large or larger response for donations for the annual raffle. If you know someone that might contribute, give us a call.
Fishouts: We still have seven exciting club sponsored fishouts for the year. If you have been thinking about participating in one of the fishouts, don't hesitate, sign up and have fun!
Our club will be looking to fill a few board positions next year. Our Treasurer, Don Stone, after many years of dedicated work, will be vacating his position next year. Want to get involved? Call me at 475-4801.
SPECIAL NOTE: Many of you have asked me about our club member, Herb Parnell. Herb is currently at Stanford Hospital. Herb is holding his own, and his family said that Herb would really appreciate hearing from US! This is our chance to give Herb a big morale boost by sending him a bunch of GET WELL cards.
