Fred Contaoi is one of the most traveled anglers on the globe. His passion is fishing of all types and has fished/worked in the fishing business in over thirty countries! When he is not abroad he like to spend his time fishing around Northern California. He just finished co-authoring a book on steelhead fishing techniques with Jed Richey (look for the book to arrive next summer from Amato Publications). He is well versed with both conventional tackle as well as the fly. You will not often see him around the normal fishing places as he likes to find the out-of-the way places. Fred will be speaking about cold water fishing (salmon, trout, and steelhead), showing slides and discussing tackle and techniques. The evening will be fun and informative.
