Here's a new material for class member to learn to use. Cul de canard (CDC) is a unique feather from near the preening (oil) gland from the rear end (cul) of a duck (canard). It has good floating qualities, and even when sunk, it holds lots of sparkly air bubbles. Come and learn how to handle this material and how to fish and maintain your finished flies.
Bring olive 8/0 thread, vise, tools and light, and prescription glasses or magnifiers. A few vises, tools and lights are available for beginners but bring yours if you have them.
Please sign up at the club meeting or call Elaine at 688-1561.
