Here's one for you fly tiers . . .
Did you ever wonder what to do with those cute little flexible magnets that sometimes come in packages of small hooks? (Or the ones with advertisements on them that somehow find their way to your refrigerator door.) Try gluing one or two to the pedestal base of your tying vise, to help keep your unused hooks from going astray.
A piece of foam, several inches long and triangular in cross section may also be glued to the pedestal base of your vise. It's a great place to put your newly tied creations until the head cement dries, and it won't mash the hackles.
