This program's topic is particularly appropriate, given the problems our steelhead populations face from decisions made by DFG and the federal government, justified by junk science. We each need to be better informed about the actual facts and reputable scientific findings about these wonderful gamefish.
Dr. Rockwell is the vice president of Conservation for the Northern California Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers, and he comes to us armed with real scientific data and the information we need to see to it that the steelhead species and its habitat remain protected for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.
