Everything that was true of September is also true of October. It is just that the weather isn't quite as good. That is more than made up for by those great late fall hatches. At the end of a day of fishing you can sit back and restock your fly box while watching, what else, Football. For those of you who don't like football, you can go to Elaine Cook's house and tie flies designed by J.Fair of Eagle Lake fame, using those beautiful autumn colored feathers.
We still have a few positions open on the board. There are several that don't take much time. They would be a great way to contribute to your club. I have always found that I get back more than I give when I volunteer for something!
